Credit/debit card information

Credit/debit card information is never shared with outside parties for promotional or other purposes unrelated to products you order from Blue Dolphin. As explained above, when you order a magazine online, we will ask for your name, mailing address, your phone number and credit/debit card information. This information will be used only to process your order and send you the product you requested, and we will share it with our service providers that help us process orders and refunds, charge credit cards, and maintain our customer database and customer accounts. Friend/family members' information

If you send a gift subscription to a friend or family member, their information will never be sold, and will be shared only with the magazine publishers and our service providers as described herein. We will use the information only to process your order and send the magazine to your gift recipient. Unless the recipient visits our site and personally registers to become a member, his or her information will not be added to our active mailing list, but will only be retained in our database for accounting and current or future customer service purposes.

Children's information

We believe that protecting the privacy of children is crucial. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect or maintain information at our Web site from children under age 16, and no part of our Web site is structured to attract those under 16. If we obtain information of children we know are under the age of 16, we will delete the information and not process the order or inquiry.

Affiliate Programs

We also partner with third party websites to promote our magazine offers to visitors of those third party sites by way of paid listings and other hosted links and offer pages. Managing your e-mail preferences

You may unsubscribe at any time from promotional e-mails you have signed up to receive. An unsubscribe link is located at the bottom of every promotional e-mail you receive. To unsubscribe, simply click the link and you will be removed from the list. You can also unsubscribe at any time by going to the My E-mail Preferences page. What You Should Know About the Future

Blue Dolphin is committed not only to your privacy, but to our own success. However, if Blue Dolphin is ever engaged in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, change in control or other sale by or of us or any affiliated entity (in each case whether in whole or in part), we may transfer or assign all of our assets, including the information we have collected about you. In the preceding 12 months, Blue Dolphin has disclosed consumer personal information to service providers and other third parties for a business purpose. In particular, M2 Magazines has disclosed the above categories of consumer personal information, which have been obtained directly or indirectly from you (e.g., when you visit our site, order magazines, register an account and sign up to receive emails and other communications from us), to service providers such as email, cloud, and e-commerce software providers, merchant processors, freight and shipping companies, fulfillment houses, magazine publishers, affiliate marketers who market our products and services on our behalf, award, rebate and point processors with whom we contract, and other third-party service providers.

In the preceding 12 months, Blue Dolphin may have also shared and/or sold your name, address, email address and buying habits with its affiliate brands to better enhance its services to you and market similar products of interest to you. Blue Dolphin may have further shared and/or sold, by way of redirected links and pop-up windows, limited consumer personal information in the form of unique identifiers and qualities, commercial information and Internet or similar network activity to third party partners who offer their own subscription and publication products. Blue Dolphin does not use, disclose or sell the personal information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age without affirmative authorization from a parent or guardian.

Right to Opt-Out of the Sale of Personal Information

You have the right, at any time, to direct Blue Dolphin not to sell your personal information. For non-accountholders, in order to verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information you must verify your identity by matching at least two pieces of personal information provided by you during your interactions with us or purchase transaction with personal information maintained by either the website operator/retailer or us, that we have determined to be reliable.

However, if your request involves receiving specific pieces of personal information you must verify your identity by matching at least three pieces of personal information provided by you with personal information maintained by us. In addition, you must provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request.

We cannot respond to your request to provide any personal information if we cannot verify your identity using the information provided.

Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information

You have the right to request that Blue Dolphin delete personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.

In order to process your request, you must first verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information. You can verify your identity by logging into your account. Please log in to your account to make the request, so our verification process can be easier.

If you are a non-accountholder and your request relates to non-sensitive information, you must verify your identity by matching at least two data points provided by you with two data points already maintained by us or the third-party retailer with whom we contract with to provide services to you. If your request involves sensitive personal information, we must first verify your identity by matching at least three pieces of personal information provided by you with personal information maintained by us or the third party retailer that we have determined to be reliable. In addition, you must provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request.

Once your identity is successfully verified, you will be asked to separately confirm that you wish that your personal information be deleted.

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable.

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Privacy Rights

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means that, unless permitted by the CCPA, your exercise of these rights will not result in Blue Dolphin: (1) denying you goods or services; (2) charging you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties; (3) providing you a different level or quality of goods or services; or (4) suggesting that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services. However, please note that we cannot process orders and deliver services if we have to delete, or we cannot collect, certain of your information.

Designating an Authorized Agent

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf if you provide the authorized agent written permission to do so.

He or she must provide their name, email address, phone number, and written permission from you that includes your contact information. We will contact you using the information provided and verify your identity directly with us. We cannot respond to your request to provide additional disclosures or delete any personal information if we cannot verify your identity and the authorized agent's authority to make the request on your behalf. Written permission is not required if the agent provides proof of power of attorney pursuant to Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465.

Other California Privacy Rights

California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our online services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
